Please check out some of the comments from our current and past tenants. I have enjoyed living at University Towers for the past two years. Besides the incredible view, my apartment provided the perfect study space. The extremely close location to campus was convenient -- especially when it snowed. University Towers also offers 24 hour security and prompt maintenance repairs. Best of all, Blair and the girls at the front desk made it a joy to come home every day. I highly recommend living here! Courtney The administrative staff at University Towers are outstanding. From the day I moved in until my final month of residence, they created a welcoming, friendly environment that made the building feel like a home away from home. Jason Michigan Grad Student I've lived at U-Towers for three years and would definitely be back for a fourth if I wasn't graduating. The staff are friendly and always helpful, and I'm consistently amazed at how quickly any maintenance requests are filled. Aside from being in a great location in the heart of central campus, U-Towers is full of amenities that help me through the week, be it the laundry facilities right in the building, the pool, or the arrangements with local restaurants to offer special deals several nights a week for U-Towers residents. Steven After my first 3 years living a fair bit away from campus, I was adamant that convenience regarding walking distance from campus was a top priority. In this regard, University Towers was an obvious choice. However, in the past 2 semesters, I've come to appreciate the building for more than that. All of the staff are polite and courteous and quick to address your questions and needs. I especially like the security of having a 24 hour lobby attendant. The apartments themselves are well constructed with efficient use of space, evidence by the fact that my two-bedroom apartment has more storage space than the house I lived in during my junior year. Moreover, there is an efficient team of maintenance staff, who has always taken care of our problems with urgency. In addition, there are always the subtle perks of free food on certain days and rent credits for referrals. In brief, my experience at University Towers has been satisfactory, and I highly recommend the place. Anvar Jay Varadaraj I have lived in University Towers for the past two years, and my experience has been nothing short of terrific. The staff here at U Towers is extremely friendly and dedicated to accomodating students anyway they can, they even helped me locate my summer sublet. You won't find another apartment that has the same on-site amenities, responsive staff, and not to mention the GREAT location. Robert Campbell LS&A 2008 University Towers is a great place to live. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The location can't be beat. It is within walking distance from all major landmarks on campus. Everything you need is near at hand. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, and there are many amenities that come with the lease. There are also a lot of perks like free breakfast on Mondays, and free nachos and hot dogs during the week. For a great location with a lot of friendly faces, I recommend University Towers. Jamie K I have lived in University Towers for 2 years and my only regret is that I didn't live here my freshman year as well. University Towers does not only have the best location, assuring you never have to leave more than 8 minutes in advance to get to a class, but at the same time you are literally next door to everything. From the grocery store across the street, to the restaurants down the entire block, to the bars less than a 2 minute walk away. Not only is the location prime, the treatment you receive when living here is unbeatable. Every person working at University Towers does all in their power to make you feel comfortable, safe and happy. Any problem or complaint will be taken very seriously and immediately resolved. University Towers also has a gym which allows you to stay out of the freezing cold and not have to walk to the CCRB. I can honestly say that I have never had any noise complaints and was always able to study in my own room, which is hard to find in any other apartment complex on campus. All in all, I cannot say anything bad about University Towers. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay on campus, look no further. Maria Paschalidis What makes University Towrs unique is it's combination of size and location. Living one block away from campus is a big help, especially in the winter. And because of their large staff, University Towers boasts great service. Repairs, for example, are usually performed within a day of reporting the problem to the staff. Xinyun Sun Hey Ya'll- My name is Sam, and I study psychology and statistics as an undergraduate at U of M. I've now lived in U Towers for almost a year, and it's been a tremendous pleasure. ***Warning--If you're looking for beautiful, glossy rooms, huge bathrooms, gold plating-keep looking. If you're looking for cleanliness, convenience, location, price, atmosphere, perks-this is your place. Everything is easy in U towers. If you need a vacuum/broom/mop, or a microwave, or a piano, or a weight-room/treadmill, or a grocery cart to move-in or move groceries, or A/C in your room, or super, super cheap internet and TV (We pay 20 a month for both!!!), then U Towers is your place. All of the employees are wonderfully nice, and accommodating. There's always a front-desk attendant, so you can't get locked-out, literally. I asked them to get a ping-pong table for the recreation room---and they DID!!! They also provide a 24-hour study lounge with free wi-fi, as well as a TV lounge, laundry room, and an outdoor pool and patio. Ice-cream, soda, microwave delights-all in the lobby. No money for a security deposit? Me neither, but I talked to Denise, and I didn't pay one. Do you hate critters? I swear on Mary Sue's mortgage that I haven't seen a SINGLE insect, rodent, arachnid, roach, etc. in my room, literally, this entire year, nor heard of such things from Tower-mates. Always tardy? U towers is 1 minute to South U stores, food, bars, Starbucks…1.5 minutes to East Hall… 4-5 minutes to the Fishbowl. If you like huge bedrooms (big enough for 2 or 3 people, bigger and cheaper than dorm rooms), and a big living-room, U Towers! With 19 floors, the views are awesome. I'm an insomniac musician and I've gotten ONE noise complaint all year (meaning the front-desk clerk asked me to quiet down). I got more noise complaints from the police in the house in which I lived last year, and I've never been bothered by anyone else's noise here either. If you messed-up, don't have a place to live, it's August 27th, and you have 1 hour to find an apartment and a roommate, U Towers is your place (and you sound like me!). To summarize-everything is super easy, convenient, and affordable. No drama, no red-tape. It's an incredibly pragmatic deal-in other words, perfect for a student. Grad students too-it's not like a dorm-much quieter, and more privacy. Honestly, had I lived anywhere else, it would have been a worse location, for more money, and I would have had to buy a bunch of stuff, actually carry things in and out while moving, be without food machines and a study lounge, and a pool and exercise room and piano…Plus, I wouldn't have made friends with Blair, and Denise, and Joe, and all the other lovely folks who take care of me, who make my life easier, and more pleasant, every day.
